Reincarnation

Reincarnation is the belief that each of us goes through a series of lifetimes for the purpose of spiritual growth and soul development. Reincarnation literally means "to become flesh again."

In most beliefs involving reincarnation, the soul is seen as immortal and the only thing that becomes perishable is the body. Upon death, the soul becomes transmigrated into a new infant (or animal) to live again. The term transmigration means passing of soul from another body to another after-death.

Hinduism, the world's oldest surviving religion, is unified by its acceptance of samsara, a chain of births and deaths linked by reincarnation. Controlling samsara is the law of karma.  Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism and most varieties of Paganism believe in reincarnation or an afterlife. In various forms, it occurs as an esoteric belief in many streams of Judaism and Christianity in different aspects.

One of the prime aspects of being human is that we have forgotten who and what we truly are. Coming into incarnation the soul usually has almost no memory of previous incarnations. In between the spirit world and our world is called liminal space.  This means that there is a threshold that has a space of time and space between the spiritual world and the physical world and this is called a veil.

In the larger reality there are layers upon layers of planes of existence. Each layer is unique a level of frequencies, something like television channels. A TV that showed all channels at once would be so scrambled as to be unwatchable, probably white light with static on the sound track. The design and purpose of a radio or television set is to "tune in" to one program at a time. The veil is the border between mortality and eternity. It is like an opaque film of forgetting which covers the memories of earlier experiences so they are not scrabled or chaotic.

The veil of forgetfulness serves 3 important purposes:
  1.  It allows us to forget any trauma from previous lives
  2. It allows us to find ourselves without initially realizing our connection to Source
  3. It allows us to learn from the ego, as well as to dissolve the ego.
The veil of forgetfulness varies from person to person and as you raise your vibrations, the veil starts to lift. Those people who are muddled in fear and lower vibrations have a more dense veil of forgetfulness, which presents them ample opportunities to overcome obstacles for spiritual growth.

Some people have the ability to remember something of their past lives while others may learn about them through past life regression hypnotherapy or some types of spiritual enlightenment. Others may have Near Death Experiences (NDE’s) in which they temporarily reconnect with Prime Creation, only to come back to this 3rd dimensional reality with a glimpse of what we can expect when we cross over to the other side.

Old traditions of European countries believed that the baby born with a veil over partial or full face was a special child and were gifted with second sight, had enhanced intuitive skills, had psychic abilities, were card readers, aura readers, spirit seers, etc. Some however look at veils as blockages, blocks or barriers to their own psychic abilities.

Ascension, by definition, is the path of those who are choosing to consciously step into a higher level of light. It's a personal choice to boldly step into the unknown in order to expand into an experience that is entirely new. Ascension is actively choosing to evolve into higher consciousness.
