There has been a collision between technology and religion. Technology has become an integral part of our lives and is increasingly influencing religion by making aspects of ancient religious teachings and practices more accessible. Many people are walking away from religion and seeking new ways to find meaning, Today, nearly four in ten (39%) young adults (ages 18-29) are religiously unaffiliated—three times the unaffiliated rate (13%) among seniors (ages 65 and older). While previous generations were also more likely to be religiously unaffiliated in their twenties. "Tech agnosticism" is replacing old fashioned bible studies. Being able to critically analyze almost any topic enhances knowledge and makes relatively easy to challenge forms of thought including philosophy, history, and religion. Artificial intelligence, and quantum computers greatly enhances resistant encryption ancient texts and languages. This is revolutionizing history and our understanding of ancient myths, stories, scriptures, and religions. For centuries, the Bible has served as both a spiritual guide and a historical record. Yet, many events described within its pages were once thought by some to be legendary or unprovable. In recent decades, however, archaeology has emerged as a powerful tool in bridging the gap between faith and history. Discovered in the caves near Qumran in the late 1940s, the Dead Sea Scrolls rank among the most significant archaeological finds of the twentieth century. These ancient manuscripts include some of the oldest known copies of the Hebrew Bible, dating back over 2,000 years. Cuneiform is a logo-syllabic writing system that was used to write several languages of the ancient Near East. The script was in active use from the early Bronze Age until the 1st century BC. The earliest known Sumerian kings and kingdoms are being named. And Ancient Sumerian texts present intriguing accounts of celestial beings, particularly the Anunnaki, who are often interpreted as extraterrestrial visitors. These seemed to be deities, described with remarkable powers and advanced technology, raise questions about humanity’s early encounters with life beyond Earth. Paul Anthony Wallace (an internationally bestselling author) brings a unique perspective to the study of extraterrestrial contact through his background as a theological educator. His research into paleo contact—the hypothesis that our ancestors encountered visitors from other civilizations—began with his analysis of biblical translations, where he discovered root meanings that told a different story than conventional interpretations. This work expanded to include indigenous narratives worldwide, revealing consistent patterns of ancient extraterrestrial encounters. He even addresses on The 'Holy Storm of 'Clerical Fascism that murdered millions of people. Even though scriptures denounces the desire to attain power and control (absolute power corrupts absolutely) the church has been obsessed with a lust for power to the extent of narcissism.
Throughout history, the rise and fall of apparently many civilizations has shaped the course of humanity. While some empires faded gradually, others vanished almost overnight, brought down by war, natural disasters, or internal turmoil. The suddenness of these collapses is both tragic and fascinating. New ways of relating to belief are emerging, outside (at least in part) of traditional religious institutions. It is a new religious-cultural landscape that some label as post-religion. The observable universe likely contains between 10 sextillion and 1 septillion stars (written as 10²² to 10²⁴ ). Most of these stars are much older than our sun star. And most stars have planets, and most planets have evolved life forms much older than our earth’s evolution. And our own consciousness is probably barely at a kindergarten level.
