Health Crisis

Millions of Americans have no health insurance and live in fear that one illness could bankrupt them. Even though the U.S. spends far more on health care than other wealthy nations, Americans die of preventable diseases at greater rates. The PBS NewsHour special, “Critical Care: America vs the World,” examines how four other nations achieve universal care for less money, with better outcomes.

"Sicko" is a documentary produced by Michael Moore that focuses on health care in America. The documentary provides an in depth understanding and analysis of the unceasing health care problems in America. Most of these problems result from the corruption present in the American health insurance industry.

Stephanie Seneff (born April 20, 1948)  is a senior research scientist at MIT, where she has had continuous affiliation for more than five decades. In 2011, she began publishing papers on biology and medical topics. Dr. Seneff speaks out about adverse health and environmental effects caused by chemicals that are being applied directly to foods we eat.

Several US life insurance companies have recently revealed an overwhelming unexplained increase (40%) in “all-cause deaths” amongst 18 to 49-year-olds.  Most of the foods on our shelves also contain chemicals and additives that are known to harmful. And Glyphosate contaminates hundreds of the most common foods. Glyphosate is  used as av herbicide but also an antibiotic drug. The amount of GBHs sprayed in the U.S. increased from about 40 million tons in 1990 to 280 million tons by 2014 and rising. Studies found that the children who had higher levels of glyphosate in their urine at age 5 had increased evidence of obesity, high blood pressure, and precursors of cardiovascular disease and liver inflammation by as early as age eighteen.

Three physician “whistle-blowers” have just released real data from the DoD, drawn from the clinical diagnosis codes. The increases found are from 2021, compared to the five year average from 2016 to 2020.

> Myocardial infarction: 269% increase
> Miscarriages: 300% increase
> Bell’s palsy: 291% increase
> Congenital malformations: 156% increase
> Female infertility: 471% increase
> Pulmonary embolisms: 467% increase
> Neurologic abnormalities: 300% increase
> Cancers: 300% increase

GMO Problem

A Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) is a problem that is a part of a much larger problem.

The poor farmer thinks he is saving time and money by using chemicals to kill weeds. But what he doesn't understand is that he is also killing the soil and possibly his grandchildren, and may be seriously wounding himself and his wife and kids. Because what he thinks is an herbicide is actually a very powerful antibiotic.

Superweeds, secondary pests & lack of biodiversity are only a few of many GMO concerns. One of the major problems with GM crops is they are difficult to contain, which means they could be extremely hard to get rid of if we later decide they are a bad idea. GMOs are bad for your body, bad for the community, bad for farmers and bad for the environment.

The health consequences of eating genetically modified organisms are serious. Various studies indicate health risks associated with GM foods. These include: obesity, infertility, accelerated aging,  immune problems, changes in major organs and the gastrointestinal system. Dr. Zach Bush and others tell us that GMOs are also associated with cancer, heart disease, diabetesallergies, autism, major depression, and other physical and psychological problems.

GM crops have the potential to change ecosystems and even destroy the balance of nature. The unnatural and permanent alteration of our food supply's genetic codes will almost certainly have devastating effects on human health both now and forever, contributing greatly to existing chronic disease while leading to the creation of new and unique diseases.

A strong movement of opposition to genetic engineering in agriculture has developed throughout the world, particularly in some countries of the European Union (EU). The movement has led to a moratorium in the EU and hostility towards imported genetically modified (GM) products, as well as to acts of open opposition.

India has witnessed around 300,000 GMO related farmer-suicides over the past two decades (Philpott, 2015; Mishra, 2014). Biotech opponents attribute the majority of these suicides to the monopolization of the cotton seed sector. Physicist,Vandana Shiva says that protests are already aimed at U.S. companies.

For years, Monsanto ruled the glyphosate world, but their patent expired in 2000. This allowed other companies to begin making and marketing herbicides containing glyphosate, and by 2015, more than 750 products made with glyphosate are produced by other companies (including Bayer, DuPont, Syngenta, BASF, Crop Science, and Dow as well as several Chinese companies).

The Chinese Communist Party has spent billions on research to develop genetically modified crops. Zach Bush says Chinese herbicide prices undercut competitors and huge amounts are exported to South America and others.

So the the underlying motive of GMO proliferation is not necessarily food security, as proponents would claim, but the greedy struggle for bio-hegemony over the global food market and chemical market.

Dr. Bush also unravels a tapestry of the chemical industry in league with Big Pharma employing tricks to manipulate the scientific truths about their products while placing profits above human health and the environment, which could  even be the route to human extinction.
